If Mr. Martino is the father of our athletic tradition in the 60s and 70s, Miss Richardson is the mother. She has been to the girls program what Mr. Martino has been to the boys. She has been sponsor, teacher, supervisor, coach, ticket taker, cheerleader, concession operator, A.C.C. advisor, historian, friend, and surrogate mother to many Kam High athletes, in a multitude of sports. She has been recognized by the B.C. High School Girls Basketball Association, as an honorary life member, for her years of service as Registrar and executive member. Miss "R" takes great delight in following the fortunes of the many Kam High graduates - she is our unofficial athletic historian.
