I have fond memories of KHS, as I suppose everyone does, but I’m sure that specific events and certain teachers shape our lives to a great extent. At the considerable risk of omitting someone, names that come instantly to mind are; Perry Richards, Mrs. Wilson, Chris Wright, Mr. Lidster, Jock Morse and of course, Mr. McMurdo, our band teacher.

I will always remember my first trip with the band to Vancouver, to compete in the music festival, in which we placed first! Thanks to Mr. McMurdo, I have been in bands all my life and cannot imagine what life would be like without music as a big part of it.

I am truly looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion, it’s been many years since some of us have met and there is a lot of catching up to do.
