It is with sad hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our grandpa, father, husband and brother. On Sunday, March 28th, 2010, while packing up to come home from their yearly trip to California, Grandpa passed away suddenly of a heart attack.

Grandpa was predeceased by his parents, Don and Marion, and his brother Don.

Grandpa is survived by his loving wife and best friend Janice, his children Duncan, Ian (Chimene), Cameron (Adri), Scott (Marie), Don (Crystal), as well as his grandchildren, Cameron, Kimberly, Tracy, Craig, Josh, Marcus, Christopher, Kathleen, Kayleigh, Serena, and Grace, his brother Malcolm (Khammuan), nieces Laurie and Susan, sister-in-law Lois, and nephews Ross and Stuart.

Grandpa was born in Victoria on January 20th, 1932.

Grandpa met and married Grandma in 1957. They settled in Abbotsford where they raised their family while Grandpa taught high school and coached basketball.

In 1974 they decided to move closer to the cabin at North Barriere Lake with their good friends Dale and Joanne. Grandpa began teaching Math and Phys Ed as well as coaching Basketball at Kamloops Senior Secondary. In 1980, he transferred to Westsyde Secondary.
